On behalf of my client, I am seeking a Benefits & Payroll Accountant to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing benefits and payroll support for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements

Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions

Prepare employee payments and benefit payments

Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as leave and medical insurance.

Provide information to employees on payroll matters, benefits, employment contracts and job offer provisions

Compile statistical reports, statements and summaries related to pay and benefit accounts

Prepare and balance periodic-end reports and reconcile issued payroll to bank statements

Assist in preparing the annual budgets
My client is seeking a candidate who is degree educated with a minimum of 3 years experience as a payroll officer. Candidates must have experience in payroll with a good understanding of the local benefit laws as well as understanding of accounting terms and familiarity with SAP or Oracle systems. Candidates must be based in the UAE to be considered for this role.
